The Official Description
A High THC Hybrid
Glueberry OG, fueled by some of today’s best genetics, is a three-way cross of GG #4, OG Kush, and Blueberry. Grown indoors, this high THC hybrid features olive green flowers frosted with sugary amber trichomes and has a distinctive kush aroma with sweet and spicy taste notes.

Leafly Description
Glueberry is an evenly-balanced hybrid marijuana strain made by crossing Blueberry with Gorilla Glue and OG Kush. This triple threat of a strain can pack a heavy punch of effects that will make you feel euphoric before lulling you into a chilled out state. Glueberry has a fruity, blueberry flavour profile with bright hints of citrus. Medical mariuana patients choose this strain to help fight symptoms related to PTSD and chronic anxiety.

First Impressions
Let’s start with the packaging. Nitrogen sealed containers should be the future of legal cannabis, especially with the various shelf life of some products. If nitrogen packaging is the ideal standard for food grade items, it should be the ideal standard for cannabis as well. Both are perishable products that degrade with time, but nitrogen slows that process significantly.
Not to mention you get an extremely satisfying experience when you open this little tin can and are immediately overwhelmed with the smell of ‘dank’ weed. My container of Glueberry OG did not disappoint. The smell and the visuals all looked promising even though the packaged dated is January 21, 2021, and I’m doing this review a year later on January 24th, 2022.
Aroma
Right away you’re hit with a strong smell of diesel and earthy hops followed by subtle hints of pepper or maybe spice. It was hard to discern, but still extremely appetizing. I didn’t get any of the citrus or berry notes as described in the Leafly reviews.
Appearance
This batch included multiple small buds. Not one stood out as extra-large, but I didn’t mind as they fit in my grinder better. There were a few pieces of shake, but it looks like they just fell off the buds as they got shook in the container. One of the downsides to big containers for small amounts. Though the buds were small, they were not dense. They also didn’t just crumble to powder when touched, there was enough moisture left in the buds to squish them without them breaking.
As for colour, it was actually difficult to see anything other than green covered in crystals. The trichomes were absolutely plastered on these buds and sparkled so pretty. Upon closer look, you can definitely see the orange hairs mixed with those lovely trichomes, but the buds were mostly pale green and even coloured throughout.
All in all, the weed looked really good.

The Experience
Now the fun part. As always, a joint was rolled for this review using Pure Hemp Unbleached Rolling Papers. Actually, a few joints were used for this review because I forgot to take notes the first time and just enjoyed the buzz.
(Also, for those who’ve commented, I don’t use a rolling machine, but I do put the filter in last.)
The cannabis shred perfectly in the grinder, not too sticky and not too dry. It made rolling a breeze. Although this strain is a hybrid, it hit like an indica. Perhaps the ‘couchlock’ effect I was feeling was a result of the GG #4 genetics. I did not get much of a cerebral high with Glueberry OG. If you’re hoping for a clear-headed or functioning high, this isn’t the strain for you. If you want something dreamy, calming, and relaxing without feeling sleepy, then this is your jewel. Smoking this made me want to curl up with a good book, or get lost on Tik Tok for way longer than anyone should. I actually really appreciated the equal parts head high and body high, it was total relaxation in the best way.
Flavour
Smooth, but pungent. That strong smell of diesel really comes through in the flavour, so much that it overpowers any hop taste. The subtle pepper smell also becomes much more pronounced. No hint of blueberry though, at least none that I noticed.
Effects
This strain will make you forget about everything around you except the one thing you’re focused on. Even that could be a challenge as the dreamy effects really take over. My body was calm and relaxed, but I did not feel sleepy, just happy and lazy.
