What is a One-Hitter?

A one-hitter is typically a slender pipe with a screened narrow bowl designed for a single inhalation, or “hit”, of smoke or vapor from a small dose (about 25mg) heated. Usually paired with dugouts, but can be bought on its own, a one-hitter is used by grinding the  tip into the dry herb preparation to pack it. Light the end packed with herb, and inhale from the other end much like a pipe. Repeat until satisfied.
